You can also balance out your meal by ordering raw, fresh fruits or steamed veggies as an appetizer (or for desert!). Ask for water with fresh lemon instead of sparkling water or even fruit juice. You can also try raw date squares and green tea instead of coffee and biscotti and save your system from unnecessary acidity.
