Certain proteins, like chicken breasts, cottage cheese, yogurt, and almonds, as well as other nuts and seeds are also alkaline. Even many fruits, juices, and spices are alkaline in nature. An alkaline diet does leave dieters with many options, which helps to ensure proper nutrition.

When consuming an alkaline rich diet, dieters should aim to consume around 70% alkaline and 30% acidic foods. This will create the best balance, while maintaining an alkaline PH. Follow a list of alkaline food for which foods to consume more of.

The main complaint that dieters have of alkaline rich diets is that they are difficult to stick to. Dieters must limit their consumption of sugar, alcohol, soda, and many processed foods. Fortunately, the longer one sticks to this diet, the less they will crave these unhealthy foods. Alkaline rich food works to restore the body’s natural PH, while improving overall health and eliminating cravings for unhealthy meals.
